This year’s 31st SEA Games has Esports subjects that attract the attention of gamers. And our Vietnamese sports team has just successfully won the first gold medal, in the game LoL: Wild Rift.
Launched on May 13, League of Legends: Wild Rift (men’s team content) is also the opening subject for all Esports competitions at this year’s SEA Games. And right from this first sport, the host boys from Vietnam Flash Wild Rift team performed excellently, becoming the first ones to win the SEA Games Esports gold.
League of Legends team: Wild Chien Vietnam
If you are interested in eSports, surely Team Flash is no longer a strange name. Over the years, the team has always been the most prominent name in the LoL gaming community. Before the peak of SEA Games, the team has achieved countless big and small achievements in tournaments inside and outside Vietnam.
In the previous group stage, the Vietnamese team successfully defeated three rivals from Myanmar, Singapore and Laos. We won both matches in BO1 format. This extremely impressive unbeaten record has helped Vietnam widen the way to continue without any difficulty.
Maintaining their form, Team Flash continued to have an absolute victory in the semi-finals against Malaysia with a score of 3-0. We went straight to the finals completely undefeated.
The final match of League of Legends: Wild Rift takes place between Vietnam and Thailand
The final match of LoL: Wild Rift deserves to be the hardest and best match so far in the eSports SEA Games 31. However, even though the Thai opponent is not easy to play, we can still win with absolute ratio 3 – 0.
The best performer in the final gold medal was definitely player Shy (Nguyen Chi Khanh). Along with generals Shen, Akali or Riven, the opponent was unable to withstand his quick and dangerous attacks.
The defeat of the Thai team, which has many “destinies” with Vietnam and excellently won the first gold medal of Team Flash, delighted the fans. This is an extremely proud and celebratory achievement for Vietnamese eSports!
